Crown & Bridge Restorations continue to serve as one of dentistry's
primary restorative options. Spectrum Dental Laboratories crown and bridge restorations are fabricated using the latest ADA approved materials. Our certified dental technicians are committed to providing fit, function and natural looking results when treatment requires porcelain fused to gold, full cast gold and implant restorations. From model work to final glazing, all cases are produced under magnification which ensures precision and accuracy.
PFM – Porcelain Fused to Metal
Spectrum Dental Laboratories’ traditional PFMs start with gold and palladium alloys that allow for strength
and versatility. The light oxide alloys provide excellent shade control and vitality. By using the VITA PM® comprehensive metal ceramic system, our laboratory technicians are able to satisfy the most challenging
restorative cases while replicating nature with ease and confidence.
Highest precision of shade matching
The VITA®3D-MASTER® shade system covers virtually all tooth shades that occur in nature and is designed
to provide systematic coverage of the entire tooth color spectrum. The concept of the VITA 3D-MASTER shade system is based on a color classification principle where value, chroma and hue are positioned equidistant from each other. Therefore, shade determination can be easily carried out according to systematic criteria.
FCG – Full Cast Gold
Spectrum Dental Laboratories’ Full Cast Gold restorations provide excellent marginal fit, biocompatibility, and longevity. With ultra high luster, its 16 micron grain size gives the patient many years of trouble-free service. High ductility of 51% elongation makes it very kind to opposing dentitions and burnishes naturally through mastication. Gordon Christensen maintains that the FCG is still the material of choice for posterior restorations whenaesthetics is not a concern. |
